If just one supertruck was enough to change the world, what’ll happen when we add an SUV to the team? Coming back from an extended absence, the new HUMMER has captured the imagination of both hardcore off-roaders and EV enthusiasts. The new 2022 HUMMER EV SUV will add to that buzz with a new, present-day interpretation of the seminal family hauler from years’ past. While all of the information hasn’t been officially released yet, this is what we think the brand-new HUMMER EV SUV will be.
It seems that the HUMMER EV SUV will have the same powertrain as the previous Supertruck. It is anticipated to be offered in either 2 motor or 3 motor setups with power ranging anywhere from 625hp up to 1000 horsepower. The effective range is expected to be close to the Supertruck. The available fast-charging system will likely also be available, meaning it should be able to get 100 miles of range in only 10 minutes of charging.
By looking at the style it appears that the HUMMER EV SUV will share many of the Supertruck features, but with a covered hardtop instead of a pickup bed. We expect that you will pick most of the same features like 35-inch tires, contemporary LED lighting, and even the Infinity roof seen on the Supertruck. Knowing the demands of modern drivers, we suspect that a 3rd-row model may also be part of the future of the HUMMER EV SUV.
We suspect that the HUMMER EV SUV will have the same modern technology available on the Supertruck. You will probably be able to find a similar version of the brand-new Ultravision camera system, paired with Drive Mode Control, Watts to Freedom, Super Cruise, and the 13.4in touchscreen stereo.

They spent probably half a day or more with me making sure I was totally comfortable and got to test drive anything I wanted to. In addition, they were never pushy, never tried to talk me into one vehicle over another and never tried to upsell me on anything. I can’t speak highly enough of those two guys. Ricky was with me the whole time and made sure I knew there was no pressure to make any rushed decision, and he catered to anything I requested. He made it his whole goal to find the exact vehicle I wanted instead of trying to put me in one because he liked it. He’s the most knowledgeable vehicle salesman I’ve ever dealt with. Because of that day we have become friends and still keep in contact. They made buying a new truck one of the easiest and stress free experiences I’ve ever had. They were so good to me on price that I was actually thrilled to get to spend time with them. I’ll always go back and see them for future cars and trucks.
