Initially had some problems in the service department after bringing my car in for repair. The issues were acknowlegded and dealt with accordingly and in the end everything was made right. Bob howard dealership, GMC, and the service department will continue to have my business and recommendation to friends and family.
Had Yukon towed in as it wouldn't start. It had power but wouldn't turn over. Advisor called to have an additional diagnostic done ($200+ charge) just to find out the starter was bad. David, service advisor, acted professionally but won't be back or recommend unless last option.
Went in for a 40,000 mile checkup. Service Tech Shelby was very nice and explained everything to me. they gave me a ride to work and came and picked me up when my car was ready and that's a big plus for a working person. Larry Palin gave me a discount because I received an email the same day with discounted service items on it. I will definitely continue going to Bob Howard for all of my service needs.
The overall experience was okay as far as my point of contact,Tucker did a great job with his communicating with me I give his customer service a 100%. However I received my vehicle Wednesday only to find out that it was not driving the same, its bouncing all over making the ride very uncomfortable, when my vehicle was at the service shop it was put on the diagnostic machine telling me that the mode actuator was bad and the transmission and the timing belt...after waiting 3 days for the extended warranty people to verify BH findings I get a call stating that my struts were leaking, #1 Why wasn't that detected initially at the 1st diagnostic test? Hmm no response....Day 6 I get a call that my swaybar link just broke...it just broke due to it being old simply does not work for, once again there was no initial indication during the original diagnostic, oh need I remind you that we didn't detect that.. The bottom line is if you only fixed my transmission and timing belt my car should not be bouncing all over.. which gives me indications that it was definitely something else done but Overall I am very UNPLEASED and will NEVER do business again with BH.
The service tech was great and very responsive to bring a key to the locking lug nut when I had a flat tire and went ahead and finished changing the tire. Great service. The tech is a great ambassador for Bob Howard.
David Cahill as always deeply cared about our concerns, was extremely helpful in giving us good honest advise, and did an excellent job. We have been very happy satisfied customers for years, and once again our cars were taken care of right away and with the best customer service experience.
